Dear friends in town

We all had our dearest friends in town for 4 days here in KK! They are the Bowyers from UK and Myers from HK! Daddy are great friends with Uncle Dan and Uncle Ricahrd, and Mummy are great friends with Auntie Christine and Auntie Joey, and we are of cos life time friends with Sky, Kiva and JJ and now also really good friends with George and Teddy! 4 days was really too little for so much fun and great company, and we need to gather again soon!

Since Mummy, Sky and I are all April girls so we had a joint celebration together!
We got a live band and this brother and sister team are really good!We also got to sing 'Let it go' and'Do you want to build a snowman' with them!
 We did Muay Thai together
 and laze around...
Of cos we were made to do the traditional, typical height ladder photo
and a group hug at the end..miss you all and hope to see you all again soon!!

Singapore!

So I was watching Disney Junior and the Disney on Ice show advertisement was always showing! And I really want to go and just so happens it was during our school break so Mummy took us there while Daddy stays back in KK working! We stayed at Daddy's cousins Auntie Fiona and Auntie May Ling's home and they showered us with presents! We love them so much!

We loved Disney on Ice!
and the hat and candy floss and ice with rainbow syrup!
and we imitated...
Shopping is fantastic in SG too! All these nice things that we haven't seen in KK, yet.
This chocolate drink is enormous! Took three of us to drink
There was a huge Barbie section in a shopping mall
and fearless Mika made use of their runway
We went to River Safari, which is new
and guiding Mummy where to go
Close encounter with the crocs
The Panda buns, nice to see but not so to eat
That's the view from Singapore flyer, Mummy's love for us conquered her fear of heights

The Gardens of wonder was nice by the day
and even better at night! The light show was nice!
There was an advertisement that I spotted on the map, and I kept bugging Mummy to go and the next day we were there! The exhibition was so good! They even had real fossils older than 100 million years old!

After that we walked across to Marina Bay Sands for lunch at Kudeta
We only had like 3 hours to shop and Mummy was dragging us like crazy! We took a photo break in between shopping centres
Mika being Mika, she was peeking under the skirt of the statue!!!
Then we met up with our cousin Dave for dinner, he is Daddy's cousin's son
Then before we left for airport we had a playdate at Clara's, who just moved to Singapore 3 months ago
Me showing her how to play 'Let it go' and Clara jotting down the notes

It was a fun trip and we would love to go again, next month!!

New family members

Since we are used to having a zoo at home, I suddenly really wanted a guinea pig, and then Mika also really wanted one, so we worked sooo hard on the reward chart and we finally earned our own pets! Even before we got them I wanted a tan and white colour one called Pepa and Mika wanted a black, white and tan one called Sushi and we found exactly what we wanted! Especially when Sushi squeaked at Mika as soon as Mika looked at Sushi!

Bringing them home from Gaya Street market

 Meet Pepa and Sushi

We helped Rubien found new hope in his life, ever since Maxi left Rubien shut himself out, and now he was a new interest
Then Mummy also went and got a curly one called Coco, named by Popo
The pigs get to come out for grass time
and running around the living room. We are really happy with our new family members!

Bits and pieces

Life is KK is not that exciting really,so we try to make things more fun for us! Recently we watched the Lego movie, we liked it so much!

Can you see me, and Mika in this photo?
When we were sitting down, Mika almost fell down cos she was too light for the chair to go down! It was so funny!!
Mummy had been doing yoga and this time we joined her as well, as usual, Mika was doing her own thing

 and this was fun!

There was a bird nest in the air conditioner generator and one two of them fell down and so we tried to look after them. After putting them back one dropped again and so we put it under a tree and let nature do its work, as suggested by the Google searches.

Chinese New Year

We celebrated our first Chinese New Year here in KK and it was very very festive!

Mika had a Chinese New Year celebration performance at school and there are 5 'God of Wealth' greeting us at the main entrance giving out mandarins!
 Mika's class performance
We helped decorating the plant to make it look more festive

 Our New Year Eve ritual
Daddy and I were writing Fai Shuns and Mummy was making special New Year dumplings
These special dumplings has coins (for wealth) and red dates (for good luck) inside
 Our Fai Shuns
Gong Xi Gong Xi! Wishing you a wonderful and healthy year of the Horsie!
On the 15th day of Chinese New Year, the local Chinese here celebrates 'Chup Gor Mei', where lion dances and big fests are the way to celebrate! We were celebrating at our friend's home and we also brought along our very own lion- that's us in the front, with the real deal at the back!
We helped to bring good luck to their house
 No, that's not us...
That's the way we 'eat' the lai see
The surprise is the host even got fireworks! I was too scared to watch but apparently it was amazing having fireworks RIGHT ABOVE YOUR HEADS!
Wising you a prosperous New Year!
