Before Christmas

Before school ends Bean tagged the candy canes for her friends. 

Then Popo arrived to join us to our Japan trip

Christmas craft

Parents were invited to join Year 2 Christmas craft session and Mimi had a few Christmas decorations which was nice and fun. 

Mimi’s 8th birthday

Mimi turns 8 this year but she is still a baby. This year she wanted a Hatchimal and we literally walked 3 hours in the shopping mall looking for it!! It is so popular that it’s sold out everywhere.

The school swimming carnival happens to be on Mimi’s birthday and she had a lot of fun.

We watched ‘Daddy’s home 2’ at Cineplex Bulimba and had Italian food for dinner followed by gelato at gelato shop

Mimi’s 8th party!

For Mimi’s 8th birthday party she wanted an unicorn themed party, and we invited her entire class at our garden but it rained so heavily at the start of the party that everyone got so wet! We did party games like pin the unicorn horn and pinata. The girls had a lot of fun getting wet in the pool too! Although it rained the girls had a lot of fun and I even made them ‘raincoats’ with garbage bags. Mimi thinks the highlight of the party was when the pinata won’t break so Parker’s Daddy had to help with bashing it and even the rod broke so Daddy and Parker’s Daddy had to rip the pinata open by hand.

First project

Mimi did her first project in school year on Water. She needs to talk about how water is used and how to save water and present it at class. 

Sophie's pool party

Bean was invited o Sophie's pool party and it was one of your best day ever! Metea, Nelly, Lily, Daisy, Zoe were there too! 

While Bean was having fun, Mimi abd I had a date.

Halloween

This year we went Trick or treating at East Brisbane with Nelly, George and their friends. It was a lot of fun! 

New family members

We have finally decided to adopt Oreo and Momo! His name is Momo because of his hair!

Breast cancer duck race

This day we went to show our support of the cancer foundation and also to see 1000+ ducks being released into the river. We each made and decorated a duck each and it was fun despite it was raining.
