Gong Hei Fat Choy!!

Happy Year of the Dragon! Wishing everyone a healthy, happy, wealth and lucky year of the Dragon! As Mummy is influenced by her Grandmother and is very traditional about Chinese New Year, so we get to feel the excitement of this special festival!

Every year Mummy will make these special dumplings with red dates symbolising good luck and with coins, symbolising good wealth. Only Mummy can tell the difference so we all try to eat as much as we can to get as much wealth and good luck as possible! Here is me helping Mummy to insert coins into the dumplings.
Every year we write our own fai chun, this year I got to help write them too!
Happy New Year's eve dinner in our new home
 Homemade sweet dumplings
Then on New Year's day we invited the Myers to come and dine with us! No proper photos as it's almost impossible to take a photo of us properly!

Bye Bye Conway Mansion, 29 Conduit Road

We moved, again, after 15 months of staying at our last apartment at Conway Mansion. We all loved this apartment because of the natural light that comes in everyday and that we had a playroom! We had to move cos the building next door is going to get knocked down and rebuilt which means years of dusts coming in and noise pollution.... so we have moved down the road to somewhere more peaceful.

In memory of our old apartment, here are the photos of it.

 My room
The other side of my room

The wall in the dining room was my art display panel

We miss you so much! Thank you for the lovely experience!

Nong Ping trip

Just after Xmas we spent a day at Nong Ping because Daddy saw on paper that they have a snow show there, so off we went in hope to see some snow!

We were so happy to see the huge macaroon tree
This chocolate strawberry looks very yummy too!
Then we tried to enjoy our Starbucks babycino with sun in our eyes
 More sun in our eyes
Then we tried Mummy's old time favourite food, which we don't know what the fuss is about
Highlight of the day is this egg house!! We were allowed to choose one egg each, it was such a difficult decision!

And it came the snow sprayed out from the machine. Can you see the white dots? It wasn't much...
So we got the crystal bottom cable car, we found it so cool and exciting, except for Mummy

 We really enjoyed the trip!

Bye Bye mantis

About a month ago when Mummy was on a bus on her way to facial she saw a perfectly healthy mantis on the floor, she was scared that someone might kill it so she battled her fear of all kinds of insects and captured the mantis in her lemon tea container, and there we had a new pet! Mummy bought fresh crickets for it to eat and I like watching our live 'discovery channel' at home, but Mika gets really scared when the mantis begins to hunt the crickets.  Almost everyday I tell Mummy ' Mummy I am so happy I have a mantis, I love it so much!!'.

Watching the mantis is one of my favourite pass time, except it's pretty boring - it hangs upside-down all day long and doesn't really move
Hunting a cricket. It can eat on cricket within 5 minutes
It's Christmas so Mummy said it's time for it to go home to see its family, although I really didn't want to set it free, Mummy said it's for the best of it. I miss you Mantis!!
