My first toboggan experience

I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! We had our first white Christmas here in Niseko, and we spent it with the Martins and their family from Sydney. We had turkey, roasted vegetables and very yummy desserts, they had a live Christmas tree at home and I also got a present! Silly Mummy forgot to bring her camera so we just have to wait for the host to send us some photos so we can post it up here. Let me show you what we did since the last post.

Mummy was delighted to see a tall, live Christmas tree with lights on

On our way to Hanazono. I manage to put on my 'attitude' whenever I have my sunnies on
Daddy pulling me to get me ready for what is going to happen next
I call this 'car car'
Going up the 'Magic carpet'
That is us at the bottom of the hill! First round completed! However, on the second round, because it was too slippery at the bottom of the hill, our toboggan flipped and my heroic Daddy protected me by wrapping me up with his arms but he hurt his face and arm.. Daddy thanks for saving my life! You are my hero! Kissssssssss
Since the activities here are quite limited for little ones like me, and we are house bounded today since there is a snow storm outside, Mummy got some instant cup noodles and we played stacking.
Then we played with my Christmas present that I got from Martins yesterday

What we did

Today is our 5th day in Niseko. Our activities here so far is stepping on snow outside our house, which to me is something fun, sometimes. Here are photos of what we had been doing for the past few days.

We went swimming
Played fly-eye with Daddy
Went to Onsen which I think is far too hot for me

We are in Niseko, Japan!!

We arrived Niseko! It is nice to be here and seeing snow outside the window, and that my Barney DVDs are there with me. It is so beautiful here and Mummy is planning different things for us to do after we settle in, like swimming in the heated pool, onsen (the famous Japanese hot spring) that we are not sure if I am too young to go into, there are nurseries that I can pop into to play, visiting animals at the zoo etc etc!! I really look forward to doing all these things in snow! But the only thing that really bothers me is that I have to wear my beanie and coat whenever we go out, I am like Daddy and I don't like to have so many layers on!!

Show and tell

The following is my conversation with Mummy after a big feast last night.

Mummy: Bean Bean, you ate so much tonight, you must be full right?

Me: (Pulling up my top) Tummy!

Mummy: Yes that's right Bean Bean, your tummy is big because you ate a lot of food tonight.

Me: (Pointing at my tummy) Baby!!

Mummy: (Laughing) No Bean Bean! Big tummy doesn't mean you have a baby inside! Hahahaaaa

I thought I said the right thing because Auntie Elena's tummy is big and Mummy told me there is a baby inside... I don't get it now.

Good Cause

Christmas is here and everywhere we go we can see and hear Christmas decorations and songs, I love it! Christmas is Mummy's favourite festival and I think it will be mine too since I get to receive presents from others! I know I am a lucky girl that I am loved (and admired) by so many people. So today, Mummy, Daddy and I went to a toy shop and bought a lot of presents for the children at Mother's Choice to remind them that they are also loved by others. We donated the toys on behalf of Mummy's company Baby Bean, as Mummy's pledge was to donate part of her profits to charity organisations.

Two big bag of presents
Well, I was upset to know that there are abandoned children in this world, how can that be? I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very happy life.

Packed with surprises

Now that I am older, I can do and understand more things. I surprise Mummy a lot of times by doing and saying something new. Recently I learnt how to care about others by being nice and be thoughtful of them. Like today, when I saw Maxi GorGor jump up the sofa, I said to him 'careful'. But I am not always nice, the other day Ah Liz was doing something silly to make me laugh and I said 'Funny Zhe Zhe, crazy'. I got told off after I said that.... So, what else did I do this week..

Happy birthday Daddy!

It's December already! Time flies!! Like every year, Mummy will hand make her Christmas cards. This year, I can finally help her to make some!

Helping Mummy decorate the trees on the card with my fingers

On Saturday, we had our Mummy group Christmas party at Becky's house. A lot of my friends were there and it was so much fun! I also got to meet Nana's baby sister TinTin for the first time!

Receiving present from Santa! I was the only one besides Nana who didn't cry when I saw Santa!
On the same day of the Christmas party, it was also Daddy's Birthday! Happy Birthday Daddy! I love you and wish you all the happiness and health! I will try to be a good girl!
Mummy had her own stall at Discovery Bay on Sunday to sell her baby slings. Ah Liz brought me to meet up with Mummy later on in the afternoon. I modeled for the slings and played with a few dogs and met a new (boy) friend!

30 November 2008- The day of many 'First's

30 November 2008 is an important day to me! I had sooooo many 'first's and everything was so interesting!! Let me give you a recap of my day:

My first hair cut!!! That's a BIG deal! Everyone knows how I place 'beauty' on the top of my list! But I trust Mummy as it's her job to make me look good! See how concentrated she is, she even went cross-eyed...
First seed planting! Mummy wanted me to know about 'How things work' and so she got some green beans and asked me to put them in the pot. I water it everyday and watch it grow. Some beans have already sprouted and it is so amazing!
Me watering the plant, and the floor
My first druuuuuuuming! I found this chippy container which I call a drum. So Mummy gave me the drum sticks (disposable chopsticks) and here I go! Anyone wants to jam with me?
My first whistle! I got my first whistle from Anders' party's goodie bag and I have so much fun making sounds when I blow in it! It didn't take too long until I got the hang of it, sort of!
