Things I am suddenly doing

Like most babies, after the first 6 months of being boring and immobile, we begin to learn to do a lot of things. Here are the things I am doing:

Sitting

I stood up today with support
My first tooth is showing, it's the bottom right one
And then I stood WITHOUT holding onto anything later today! Watch me do that on the video!

Maa Maa and YeYe in town and my first sleep-over

Maa Maa and YeYe were in town for ONE day and then they left for Malaysia for a few days before they come back again. I was so excited to have them here and I even called PoPo to ask if they can come too. Daddy and I went to pick them up at airport express and I was so happy to see them! Now I am anxiously waiting for them to come back!

Maa Maa and YeYe came to pick me up from school!
Then I went to Maa Maa and YeYe's hotel for a sleep over! This is the first time of me sleeping out. I left home with them and help make the bed, and then without fuss I went to sleep! Then at around 11:30pm I got up and wanted Daddy to bathe me (but I was bathed already!) and then slept with Maa Maa and YeYe for a while and then I was moved back to my own special bed. It was a good experience but Mummy and Daddy felt so sad. I even wanted to go to Malaysia with Maa Maa and YeYe!

Don't let Mummy know

Mummy is the strict parent and Daddy is the kind one, so Daddy and I have our own secrets that we keep away from Mummy. Today, when Daddy was having potato chips, I wanted some too and Daddy 'secretly' gave me some, so I had to be discreet and not let Mummy see me eating the chips, otherwise dear Daddy will get in trouble, again.

Daddy gave me chips!
wow, it's a big one!
I need to be discreet and not let Mummy see. Oops, is she taking photos??
So we pretend we were busy doing something else at the other side of the room while Mummy is playing with Mika....
but Mummy zoomed in and Daddy got caught feeding me chips!!

Since we are girls, we like to look good! So here we are making ourselves pretty!

Mummy used all my clips on my hair!

Do you like my bling-blings?

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day Daddy! I learnt how to say 'Happy Father's Day' in Chinese Mandarin, which Daddy didn't know what I was talking about! I made a card for Daddy both at home and at school, and of cos lots of kisses for my dear Daddy!

The green card I draw at home and the red tie card I made from school. I wish Mika may have looked a little more interested

Sitting

Recently I am learning how to sit. I am still a little wobbly but I am trying to get the hang of it. Daddy wonders how I am going to learn if I am being held all the time. Well Daddy, may be I will do what Mummy said, that I will one day start walking as soon as you put me down on the floor. I am also following Bean Bean ZheZhe's foot steps and became a Daddy's girl. I will give the biggest smile and kick my legs whenever I see my dear Daddy. Daddy is now learning how to juggle (physically) the 2 of us.

Group hug less Mummy. Daughters are always closer to their Daddies

Learning how to sit with Sophie
Sitting and playing with Megan. We were supposed to dump the shapes into the cookie jar, but instead we took turns in tasting different shapes, and we didn't reach an agreement on which one tastes the best

More conversations

It's evening and Mummy needs to feed Mika..
Mummy: Bean, Mummy is going to feed Mika now, and then Mummy will read you books before you go to bed, okay?
Me: I don't like it. How about Juliet feed Mika?
Mummy: But Juliet doesn't have milk.
Me: Juliet doesn't have nikkle (nipple)?
Juliet: No I don't.
Me: (Hopping off the sofa) Let me check.

During the weekend..
Me: Mummy, Mika and Juliet are my best friends
Daddy: What about me??
Me: Later.
Daddy: How long do I have to wait for?
Me: 5 minutes, no no, 1 minute. Okay?
