Modelling competition

Mummy signed me up for this modelling contest held by her favourite gossip magazine and I was one of the lucky 20 that made it to the finals out of 280 contestants! Although i didn't win and Mummy couldn't get her free subscription for 6 months, we really enjoyed the experience today. I complained last time that none of my friends came to see my piano recital so this time Sky, Kiva and JJ came to Cyberport to support me, I am so happy!

Learning about nature

Since Hong Kong is busy city there is not much of a chance to be close to the nature unless you make an effort. Mummy thinks we are missing out on 'getting to know the nature', so we had been catching different kinds of bugs home. 

First we got a lady bug from the organic vege market which came out from its cocoon. Mummy gave it water and it sadly drown

Then we got these red cotton bugs which apparently like to eat okras. We got these from the lady who sells organic veges at the market. Mummy thought they are too scary and set them free that evening

 Then we caught a caterpilla from the street and at that very night it made a cocoon out of the leaves. It is building a cocoon here

 1.5 weeks later it became a moth! 

 Again we went to the organic market in search of lady bugs and the same lady who gave us the red cotton bugs gave us a snail, which we set free 3 days later

Our foster cat, Rubien

Since Mika loves/obsessed with cats, Daddy and Mummy decided to help strayed cats by fostering them until they find a new loving home. That way we don't have to be committed but also doing good deed. This is our first foster cat, the four months old Rubien and I gave him the name! We only had him for one day but we are bonding so well and it feels he has always been here! Last night, which was the first night, he sneaked into the corridor every time when Mummy wasn't watching and meowed so loud to ask us out to play and when Mummy say 'outside!' he walked out with his head down looking guilty. We all like him so much since he is so affectionate and sweet, he loves to rub our legs. But for Maxi.. he is so upset that he attacked Rubien every time they are out together so now we need to separate the two....

 Today when I came home from school I told Mummy 'When I was at the school bus today I looked at the sky and said quietly "I love you Rubien". I said it quietly so no one can hear. Can we please keep him Mummy?'

I am cheeky Mit

I transformed.  From the quiet, easy going Mit to the cheeky monster Mit.  I say a lot of smart comments and do naughty things. I love to hit ZheZhe and stir her up and when she screams I will feel satisfied and might hug her back knowing I will be forgiven straight away. I like to scream and shout until I get what I want and I can never be distracted away from what I want.  I don't mind going to naughty corner and I'd volunteer myself to go. My first piano performance

I had been learning piano for quite a few months now and I was so lucky to be picked to do a performance with the other selected students at the Recital Hall at City Hall yesterday. I played the 'Number Song' (12345). Mummy even got me a new dress for this event as an encouragement! It was really funny when Mika kept shouting ZheZhe when I was performing and I had to try hard not being distracted! And Mummy was so touched and so proud of me that she cried at the end of my song. Homemade

Since Mummy likes to cook, she offered that we cook something together when I was younger but I didn't like to cook.  Now that I am older, and that making cookies was so much fun, I now like to try to make something for everyone. It makes me happy that everyone is happy!

This time we made spinach and cheese puffs for lunch

 Mika was supposed to help putting the fillings on the pastry but she just kept eating the fillings instead!

 I made this all by myself! And it was sooooo yummy! I want to make this everyday!

 And then we made playdough. Mummy cooked the dough and I coloured them

 Ta Da! We played with it straight away! Daddy made 'spaghetti bolognese' with the pink and yellow playdough. It looked delicious!

 This time we made pizza for dinner. Mummy and I made the dough together and it was so sticky! I didn't like that part but I enjoyed putting toppings on it! Mika helped topping it too!

 But not for long as she again was eating the toppings more than putting them on the pizza

 And it was yummy of cos!!
