The rest of our Sydney trip

Now that we are back to Hong Kong, we need to get used to the sudden change of temperature from 15 to 32 and of cos we are missing PoPo and Gong Gong and Tai Gong and Kau Fus and Kau Mos and baby Isaac so much! Well one thing that we did good was that Isaac started to walk after seeing us running around so much! Now get ready for another long blog entry!

I got so attached to PoPo
and so did Mika
We were there to celebrate PoPo's birthday. Happy Birthday again PoPo! We wish you lots of happiness and good health!
Lovely Huang family
We were also there to celebrate Gong Gong's birthday. Happy Birthday Gong Gong, we wish you lots of good health and happiness and wish you will have your first hole-in-one soon!!
Mika really liked the chocolate cake.. she made a mess and PoPo was busy cleaning her hands while Mummy quickly popped her camera out to take the photo
and I of cos loved the cake too
Dinner at Isaac's house second night before we leave
Gong Gong assembled a wooden toy house for us...
...where I made good use of with the new car I got from Kau Fu glasses and Kau Mo Bun Bun
We also went on the ride which is 20cents a ride. It's 1/10 of the price of a normal ride anywhere else. So Mummy paid for 5 rides
plus the other rides that we could pop on sharing a seat
I also got to help PoPo make dumplings. Thank you PoPo for keeping your promise!
I was a natural. After all I am 1/4 Shangdongnese
Mummy helped wrapping them. I ate 8 dumplings that night and I said I want to eat that every night!
We went to Taronga Zoo with Kau Fu Tummy and Kau Mo Chu Chu (or Kau Mo Jiu Jiu by Mika) and baby Isaac. We touched this lizard where we initially thought it has 2 heads
Riding on the stone hippo
I am a Fennec fox
We all love the giraffes
We also love Kau Fu Tummy
Trying on high heels where ever I am
Made this 5 minutes chocolate cake for everyone at Kau Mo Bun Bun's house
It was YUMMY!
Got my early present for birthday next year. They got me this so I can remember they have a cabriolet as well
We visited Lena and her Mummy Sonia, who is Mummy's high school friend
Mika and Lena got along really well
We caught up Auntie Jeanie who we both love. Wish we could have played with Ruby her dog as well
It was such a good but short 3 weeks. We will come again soon!!!!!

We're in Sydney!

It's been a loooooooooooong time since the last blog entry, mainly because Mummy had no wireless at Kau Fu Tummy's home and now that we are back at PoPo's place, she has finally mixed the WiFi, other than that we/she had been busy shopping and socialising.

Since we've been back Mika kept repeating every hour 'I'm in Australia'. We think it's because she likes it here. We all too like it here but we miss Daddy a lot... Mika is talking a lot more now and she loves sucking up to Gong Gong and Tai Gong.

Here are some of the things we had been doing:

At the airport on our way to Sydney. I remembered this airplane thing at the food court so we had to go there just to take a photo before we board the plane
In the plane with much anticipation
Mummy feels 10 years older.... but we actually behaved really well on the plane
We greeted Tai Gong immediately upon arrival. We miss him so much since he didn't go to Hong Kong this year
Mika being sweet and vulnerable and asked PoPo and Gong Gong to kiss her 'broken finger', which is the longterm blister from sucking her thumb
Of course we had to play the rocking machine, which was HK$20 per ride
We had to stay at Kau Fu Tummy, Kau Mo Chu Chu and Isaac's place for 5 nights since PoPo had relatives from China to stay with her. We feel very much welcomed at Kau Fu's place where we had our personalised wash cups
Collecting shells on the beach right outside Kau Fu's backyard
and took pictures outside his neighbour's back door
Pretending to be a mermaid on the rock
Isaac's playroom is like a play centre
This is something we can never do in Hong Kong-hiding behind the clothes and knocking them down without getting scolded at by the shop assistants
We attending the weekly story telling session at the library
and did craft that were related to the story theme- animals at the barn
Mika's colouring
We went to an indoor play gym and I made a friend called Charice
We sneaked inside the party room and took photos on the throne
We rode together
Sharing my ice-cream with Mika
I again rode on the ride. It's The Wiggles this time. Mika will be so upset if she finds out what she missed out on.. The Wiggles is her favourite at the moment
We played sparkles
Gong Gong and I played bubbles together
I like to help Mika putting on her shoes and she loves me helping her too (see video)
Really very co-operative in terms on what position I need her to be in
To the library again
Each library has their own character. This library has bean bags and a 'hand chair' that spins
After that we went for a picnic and tried to feed the ducks, but they weren't interested in our food...
Sitting under the big tree enjoying my sausage
Mummy and her babies
Going to the park didn't stop Mika from searching Mummy's bag for goodies
Picking nice flowers
Mika got into trouble when she spilled the bag of chips on the the carpet. Look at her face.. (see video)
a closer look at the guilty face
We went to Bills for their famous pancake. Mika wouldn't leave my babycino alone
It was a ricotta hotcake with butterscotch butter. We also had coconut bread which were very yummy
Reflection of me smiling on the spoon
Straight after Bills we went to a famous Thai restaurant Spice-I-am. We ate our breakfast and lunch within a 5 minute car ride since Mummy didn't want to go on separate occasions. After all it was a 30 mins drive
MM... what should we eat
We had spring rolls, chicken noodle and beef basil stir-fry. Mummy thinks this restaurant is way over rated.

...and more fun things to come!
