Nong Ping trip

Just after Xmas we spent a day at Nong Ping because Daddy saw on paper that they have a snow show there, so off we went in hope to see some snow!

We were so happy to see the huge macaroon tree
This chocolate strawberry looks very yummy too!
Then we tried to enjoy our Starbucks babycino with sun in our eyes
 More sun in our eyes
Then we tried Mummy's old time favourite food, which we don't know what the fuss is about
Highlight of the day is this egg house!! We were allowed to choose one egg each, it was such a difficult decision!

And it came the snow sprayed out from the machine. Can you see the white dots? It wasn't much...
So we got the crystal bottom cable car, we found it so cool and exciting, except for Mummy

 We really enjoyed the trip!

Bye Bye mantis

About a month ago when Mummy was on a bus on her way to facial she saw a perfectly healthy mantis on the floor, she was scared that someone might kill it so she battled her fear of all kinds of insects and captured the mantis in her lemon tea container, and there we had a new pet! Mummy bought fresh crickets for it to eat and I like watching our live 'discovery channel' at home, but Mika gets really scared when the mantis begins to hunt the crickets.  Almost everyday I tell Mummy ' Mummy I am so happy I have a mantis, I love it so much!!'.

Watching the mantis is one of my favourite pass time, except it's pretty boring - it hangs upside-down all day long and doesn't really move
Hunting a cricket. It can eat on cricket within 5 minutes
It's Christmas so Mummy said it's time for it to go home to see its family, although I really didn't want to set it free, Mummy said it's for the best of it. I miss you Mantis!!

We wish you a Merry Christmas! This year we spent Christmas in Hong Kong, we had Xmas eve dinner at the Myers' party, Xmas day lunch at home, Xmas early dinner at the Myers' again and then off we went to TST by ferry to see the lights!

Baby barbie from Santa
Mika got her wish granted from Santa
I got Rapunzel shoes and necklace from Santa, I love Santa!
Pre-present unwrapping time, we all got very excited
Thank you Tai Gong, Gong Gong and Popo for my Belle dress that I wanted!
Thank you Kau Mo ChuChu and Kau Fu Tummy for the Princess Tiara and handbag, that Mika had to use straight away
Thank you Tai Gong, Gong Gong and Popo for my Mulan dress that I had been wanting for a long while! And Thank you Kau Mo ChuChu and Kau Fu Tummy for the Barbie musketeer shoes!
 Unwrapping all the presents
This has to be Mika's favourite present- a Micky Mouse candy dispenser, when she pressed it about 6-7 mentos came out so she quickly put 4 into her mouth and I also had a few
We can see four mentos in her mouth, Mummy was worried about her choking
 Look at our mess
Mummy helped to build the castle from Mummy and Daddy
On the ferry to see Xmas lights and decorations
 Toy story at Harbour city

Mummy got us to open our Xmas presents, which were a pacifier for Kiva, a kitchen scrub for Sky, and..
1/2 catty of Gai Lan for me!!??
Mika didn't know why she got an empty jar of candy...
but we all had fun and knew we were being made fun of, so we laughed and got to open our real presents!!

Our Kota Kinabalu trip

We had another fun trip together with the Myers at Kota Kinabalu last week. We spent 5 days and 5 days there at the Nexus resort but it seemed much shorter then that! We mainly swam and out and about everyday. It was just fun spending time with the Myers!

Breakfast by the pool and beach
We didn't really want to get into the beaches this time as they had sand fly warnings...
We had fun running around on the grass outside our pool villa, but the pool was so small so we didn't end up using it
Went to the town and Mika danced away when she heard music from the shop
Swimming and playing in the pool
Mika paddling water with JJ by the pool side
Mika leisurely watches us swim and play while enjoying her candies
 Group photo
We did sarong painting, unfortunately Auntie put these in the laundry and now they have all faded
Daddy helped with the background colours. I did the colouring, while Mika was digging into Mummy's bag and cried for candies at 10am
We went on a lagoon boat ride, where we got to drive the boat, here is Mummy screaming at Mika to let go of the steering wheel cos the boat is about to hit the mountain
Looking into the beautiful lagoon with Sky and Kiva
Almost everyday we got our ice cream fix
The weather was so hot that the ice cream melted really quickly, and Mika made a huge mess, but she didn't seem to mind
More swimming, Mika loved the spins
 More ice cream
Indoor amusement park in a shopping mall!
This cool elephant moves around the amusement centre!

And before the trip ended, I asked Mummy and Daddy when we can have another trip with the Myers again.

Creativity

I have recently made 3 things I am really happy about, and here they are!

Mummy bought me white sneakers to paint!

I wear them all the time!
The other two are these mermaids! Lovely right?
