New school year

Mika and I have started our new school year, where I am now a big K2 girl and Mika has started her Montessori playgroup which we call it 'school'.

Mummy wishes me a lucky new school year with Lai See and Fai Chuen wrapping shallot (symbolises 'clever'). I started school on 1 September
Mika quickly unwrapped her Lai See. She started school on 2 September

Before school started the schools required Mummy to provide them with our passport photos, so Mummy went on the challenges to take some photos for us.

Challenge No.1 - Mika. These are just a few from the many she took, and none was selected

Challenge No. 2- Me

So Mummy got so fad up and selected these for us at the end......

New experiences

Before we went to Australia Mummy has arranged this special event for us- selling flags for Caritas. Mummy wanted me to know more about the society and that since I am so fortunate I should help those in need. Mika was there too and so my job was to approach people and ask them to buy the flags and Mika's job was to give them the stickers. I did my part really well, I approached people cheerfully despite the fact I was given dirty looks by some and I spoke Chinese to those with black hair and English to those with other colour hair, but Mika kept decorating herself with stickers so I end up doing her job too.

Getting ready outside our building
Me in action, by myself
After 45 mins I called it finish and we returned it to HSBC. Think I helped raise $300-$400! I felt really good about it and I want to do it again!

Last Sunday when we caught a ferry to TST we were happy to find an organic market at the pier! So Mummy bought some organic vegetables where it came with an insect that didn't move at all whole of Sunday.
Hello? What are you? Can you move?
Next morning it came a ladybug! It was actually a cocoon that we saw yesterday! It was 2 times bigger than its cocoon size. See, the cocoon is still there on the leaf!
By the end of the day the black spots have developed
We love looking at it all the time! But sadly it only stayed with us for 5 days.. it drowned ... think Mummy felt the saddest out of all of us.. So we will go back to the market again and buy some more ladybugs next week.

The rest of our Sydney trip

Now that we are back to Hong Kong, we need to get used to the sudden change of temperature from 15 to 32 and of cos we are missing PoPo and Gong Gong and Tai Gong and Kau Fus and Kau Mos and baby Isaac so much! Well one thing that we did good was that Isaac started to walk after seeing us running around so much! Now get ready for another long blog entry!

I got so attached to PoPo
and so did Mika
We were there to celebrate PoPo's birthday. Happy Birthday again PoPo! We wish you lots of happiness and good health!
Lovely Huang family
We were also there to celebrate Gong Gong's birthday. Happy Birthday Gong Gong, we wish you lots of good health and happiness and wish you will have your first hole-in-one soon!!
Mika really liked the chocolate cake.. she made a mess and PoPo was busy cleaning her hands while Mummy quickly popped her camera out to take the photo
and I of cos loved the cake too
Dinner at Isaac's house second night before we leave
Gong Gong assembled a wooden toy house for us...
...where I made good use of with the new car I got from Kau Fu glasses and Kau Mo Bun Bun
We also went on the ride which is 20cents a ride. It's 1/10 of the price of a normal ride anywhere else. So Mummy paid for 5 rides
plus the other rides that we could pop on sharing a seat
I also got to help PoPo make dumplings. Thank you PoPo for keeping your promise!
I was a natural. After all I am 1/4 Shangdongnese
Mummy helped wrapping them. I ate 8 dumplings that night and I said I want to eat that every night!
We went to Taronga Zoo with Kau Fu Tummy and Kau Mo Chu Chu (or Kau Mo Jiu Jiu by Mika) and baby Isaac. We touched this lizard where we initially thought it has 2 heads
Riding on the stone hippo
I am a Fennec fox
We all love the giraffes
We also love Kau Fu Tummy
Trying on high heels where ever I am
Made this 5 minutes chocolate cake for everyone at Kau Mo Bun Bun's house
It was YUMMY!
Got my early present for birthday next year. They got me this so I can remember they have a cabriolet as well
We visited Lena and her Mummy Sonia, who is Mummy's high school friend
Mika and Lena got along really well
We caught up Auntie Jeanie who we both love. Wish we could have played with Ruby her dog as well
It was such a good but short 3 weeks. We will come again soon!!!!!
