Small man syndrome

I know I am small, and may be that is why I need to defend and protect myself, so I use the most primitive method- violence. I like to scratch, pinch and hit ZheZhe and Auntie Juliet, and sometimes Mummy, but I don't do that too much to Mummy cos she scolds me when I do that. What ZheZhe will do is just sit there and cry. I enjoy the reaction so I sometimes use other things to hit her too like my water bottle, shoes, telephone, CDs, just basically whatever I can find, as well as using my hands, oh, sometimes I bite her too... Now I need to do it less as Mummy puts me in the naughty corner when I do that, which is the corner behind ZheZhe's door in her room. Mummy puts me there for 1 minute cos I am 1 year old, but ZheZhe always asks Mummy to put me there for 20 minutes, and ZheZhe will run and get the large cushion and other things to block the door so I can't push it open. Now when Mummy catches me before my attack, she will say 'Do you want to go to naughty corner?' and I will walk over to ZheZhe's room and look at the door and point at the corner.

Besides that, I love to cover my eyes when Mummy asks me to look at her. It all started when I did something naughty and Mummy got down to my eye level and asked me to look at her and I covered my eyes with my hands, then she held my hands down and asked me to look at her but I shut my eyes hard and laughed. I thought I was pretty smart.

So what else do I do at 14 months?
-I love shoes, and I will raise my feet to have my shoes put on and run to the mirror and laugh
-I can say 'hot' when I touch something hot and say 'cold' when I touch something cold
-I can say 'Happy Birthday', and sing it
-I can associate words, like I can't say 'sofa' but I will point at the photo of a sofa and say 'sit down'
-I love to command 'DOWN' when I want to get down when being held
-I love to eat whatever ZheZhe is eating
-I love to walk with a smile to Mummy and give her hug and dig my face into her and make 'ohhhhh' sound
-I can do hand gestures to the song 'Twinkle star'
-I can do a lot more smart things but I think I better not brag!

I know what my features are, here is me when someone ask me 'Where's your nose?'. I make sure I stick it as far as my little finger allows it
Mummy asking 'Look at Mummy'
One of my favourite position, just like my ZheZhe when she was young
My twin
I love telephones. I have called Mummy a number of times already by pressing the buttons randomly, and of cos, not with this phone

Here is the video of me when Mummy asks me to look at her.

Here is the video of me singing 'Happy Birthday'

Singapore

It's been a long while since Mummy has updated our blog cos we were holidaying in Singapore! We had fun but it could have been better if it didn't rain as much as it did. Daddy and Mummy planned a lot of nice things and places to do and see, such as going to the Zoo, Universal Studio, Botanical Gardens, indoor Playground, book shops etc.

On our way there
On our second day we went to the Zoo where there is a children's area with pony rides, merry-go-round and super fun water park. But after we got the tickets it was raining so heavily that almost all we could see is the green raincoat that Mummy bought at the Zoo ripped open to cover our pram! And of cos, no water park nor any rides... the visit lasted may be 45 mins max... we managed to see a few monkeys, elephants and some penguins
the funnest part is being in the Zoo gift shop
Third day we were at the Universal Studio! 3 minutes after we got in it started to rain again!! We did the Madagascar Merry-Go-Round for about 6 times to wait for the storm to settle down and off we went doing other rides! Our double stroller got so wet from the rain despite the fact it was under a shelter! My favourite ride is the roller coaster!
This is my parent's way in escaping the queue for taking photos with the characters.... but we were just too busy looking at the Panda and not the camera!
Us trying to navigate and figuring out where to go next
We really love this double stroller! Mika who hates the pram loved sitting here with me!
Daddy had a lot of fun with us all over him all the time!
Since it was raining everyday, Mummy and Daddy decided to take us to the indoor playground Fidgets. Daddy and I went climbing the big girl's stuff straight away...
where Mika stayed at the below 2 area..
but not for too long until she also joined us at the big kids area
we were about 1 storey high here
and I met a boy where I had running competition with
The next day we went to the Science Centre, where we had a lot of fun pressing buttons, looking at fun things, and car rides!
Laa laa laaaaaaaa
Mika got daring and only wanted to be pushed around standing up as if she was driving a forklift, such a weird sight
Our hands
Even at our services apartment we found ways to have fun. I had a great time trying on mummy's new shoes where Mika had fun with the shoe box
Then we played bride and bridesmaid
On the second last day we went to Jacob Ballas children’s garden - the children section of the Botanical Gardens

We had lunch there, look at the lunch box!
We went on the bridge and then it started to rain!!!
Then after 10 mins we went in again after the rain stopped
Here are some photos Mummy took of us while we were enjoying our trip in Singapore

Not sure if Mummy has left any. But she reckons I can say more things than ZheZhe when she was my age.

ZheZhe is nicer to me now as I am always nice to her. I love feeding her yummy things and when she cries I always smile at her so that she will smile. We love to kiss by rubbing our heads together, but I don't like it when she holds my hand, I will get really upset and so will she when I cry...

The only time I would let her hold my hand is to play our favourite iPhone games
Matching?
I love looking at myself in the mirror, just like ZheZhe
Being creative
Weather in HK has been super cold, Mummy managed to put 4 layers on my legs.. my Pedi asked Mummy if I was going to North Pole....

Since we have been back..

Since we are back we have...

continued to be silly...
Play with my best friends Sky and Kiva again
and my school friends
Mika suddenly had an 'Intelligence spurt' and learnt a lot of things. She knows how to feed Maxi his vegetables, and open his hay box and feed him hay
Mika has long enough hair to do little pig tails
and the big news is she can walk! She walked after seeing her friends walk after she is back!
also learnt how to stuff her face by stuffing more food in her mouth and spit it out cos she couldn't chew them, and whinge
