Summer and Mika Lai

Two precious girls in the Lai family. Will they get along nicely or stir up storms everyday? Keep yourselves posted by visiting our blog! Meanwhile, fingers crossed.

My first time at Ocean Park

Before this day I had no idea what Ocean Park is, after this day, I love it! Thanks to Yeye, the 5 of us got to go to Ocean Park on Wednesday. We saw the dolphin and seal show, went on cable car, ferris wheel, aquarium, jelly fish house, the frog jumper, merry-go-round etc. It was really fun!

I was really fascinated with the aquarium

I REALLY liked the jelly fish house

and so did my ZheZhe
Bird show was good. Mummy had the bird on her arm while I was strapped on her, I was real close to the bird!

We will be there soon again!

YeYe in town!

Yeye is in town for a few days and he has asked Daddy and Mummy not to say anything so it was a BIG SURPRISE! Mika obviously recognised Yeye as she let Yeye hold her cos usually she will not let strangers touch her. We only wish that MaaMaa is here too.

On our first day we spent time at the park

Halloween

Happy Halloween! This year we spent our Halloween at Park View with Olivia, Sophie, Sky, Kiva, Jaden and Mika! I was dressed up as a Witch (my choice), and Mika as a leopard (no choice).

Here we are at Park View about to start Trick or Treating!
With Olivia and her friends. Olivia had a really cool TinkerBell outfit with light up wings!
Mika is happy being carried and not knowing what she is missing out on (treats)

Drama queen

I am a happy girl but when I whinge, I am a really good one! I can not tolerate with pain and will cry with the smallest bump. Mummy reckons I will feel pain even if I get my hair cut. When there is something that I don't like, I will cry like someone is abusing me. So loud, so exaggerated.

Mummy got me a beanie for winter, I am not sure about it
Ok, I don't like it
I cry cos I couldn't take it off, but no tears
Sad puppy face after being laughed at
Still no one is taking it off so I cry some more

Old friend in town

Now that I have a mirror in my room, there is no reason for me not to admire myself in it. I will spin around before and after I dress myself, put on jewelry to see if it matches my outfit, brush my hair in front of it etc. Besides me, Mika is also really into looking at her own reflection. The first thing she would do when she is in my room is to quickly crawl over to my mirror and scream with joy before she reaches it.

My friend Becky whom I have known since 3 months old is back to Hong Kong for 2 weeks. As soon as we saw each other we clicked straight away and of cos we remember each other despite the fact that Becky left Hong Kong almost 1.5 years ago. On Saturday we meet up at Caine Road park with Max, Zoe and Moorea.

Straight away we held hands and bonded again

Our new home

The main reason why Mummy and Daddy decided on this place as our new home is that it has 4 bedrooms, so our Grandparents can come more often to visit us, as well as having all our toys in that room so they don't have to clean up our mess! Here is our playroom which we love and see us in action! Friends, come and play with us!!

Apartment moving

We moved apartments last Wednesday on 29 September and I was at Sky and Kiva's for a few afternoons so Mummy could unpack the boxes. I had lots of fun over at their place but Mummy was not having as much fun as I did! While the apartment is still trying to get itself organised, Mika and I were trying to keep ourselves entertained with whatever we could find.

Playing Peek-a-Boo/ Hide and seek with the laundry, where Daddy later found Mika stole 2 Maxi biscuits from the shelf and had them in her mouth...
