Summer and Mika Lai

Two precious girls in the Lai family. Will they get along nicely or stir up storms everyday? Keep yourselves posted by visiting our blog! Meanwhile, fingers crossed.

I love Sydney!

After a long, uncomfortable, whingy, agitated, crying fit flight that I only managed to sleep for 1 hour, we made it to Sydney. Once I am here, I feel like a princess. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeveryone in the family treats me like a princess and I get aaaaaaaaaall the attention I want anytime of the day. Of course I do too try my best to return the favour by doing something they love- kissing them. I know my kisses are precious, so precious that I don’t give them even when Mummy begs for it, but since I love the reaction I get when I kiss them, I will do it! I also managed to surprise them with the amount of things I can say and know, and that I remember everyone one of them by addressing their titles right! Yeye and Maa Maa are also coming up from Melbourne tomorrow to see me!

Toys ‘r’ Us here are much bigger and better, don’t I just look like a princess here?
Taming my all family members

Small head, big thoughts

The second day after I got the bike:

Me: Bike, gai gai (go out)
Liz: Mummy is sleeping, wait till Mummy gets up
Me: Go, wake

Today, When Liz is changing my pants:

Me: Fai D, Fai D, Fai D, Fai D (Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry)
Liz: What??!!

Today, when I was sitting on Mummy's lap, she was tapping my feet on the sofa:

Me: No more, broken
Mummy: @$&(#*

Disneyland!!

Today is Tristan's 2nd birthday, Happy Birthday Tristan! And he is lucky enough to have his birthday party at Disneyland! This is our first visit to Disneyland, and we were lucky enough to be there to see the parade! Besides taking photos with the characters, we also went on the Winnie the Pooh ride, Dumbo and also Merry-go-round!

My Chrissy Present!

I thought Mummy and Daddy forgot! I didn't get anything from them in Japan so I thought they forgot, but yesterday Mummy brought me to Toys r us and asked me if I want a play kitchen or a bike. After asking me almost 10 times the same question, I gave her the same answer- bike! So today, after I woke up from my beauty nap, I saw my first bike! Thank you Daddy and Mummy! We went downstairs straight away and I told everyone I met 'bike!'. I also rode it all the way to the park and had a lot of other kids touching it, which I wasn't very happy about at first but Mummy asked me to share so I was proud to share my new toy!

Proud to show off my new bike
I think it looks nicer with the sunnies

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! Wishing you all a very happy, healthy, relaxing year of 2009 filled with lots of love!!

We are back to Hong Kong on the New Year's Day. We wanted to stay longer to accompany Daddy but the flights are full due to Niseko being a popular ski destination, 1 Jan was the only day we could ourselves back! We miss Daddy oh so much, and hope that Daddy will surprise us by coming to Sydney with us.

Mummy pulled me down our street with her homemade toboggan. I am not sure about the safety issue..
Is it all about homemade stuffs?? Playing with the homemade phone
My new toy bear can have a go too
Kissing Daddy, I miss you so much
What a great way to end the year, so loved
Happy New Year! On our way back to Hong Kong
At Seoul airport waiting for our transit
Home! And out of all things, I played with a paper bag!

My first toboggan experience

I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! We had our first white Christmas here in Niseko, and we spent it with the Martins and their family from Sydney. We had turkey, roasted vegetables and very yummy desserts, they had a live Christmas tree at home and I also got a present! Silly Mummy forgot to bring her camera so we just have to wait for the host to send us some photos so we can post it up here. Let me show you what we did since the last post.

Mummy was delighted to see a tall, live Christmas tree with lights on
Getting ready for my first Toboggan ride on Christmas Day
On our way to Hanazono. I manage to put on my 'attitude' whenever I have my sunnies on
Daddy pulling me to get me ready for what is going to happen next
I call this 'car car'
Going up the 'Magic carpet'
That is us at the bottom of the hill! First round completed! However, on the second round, because it was too slippery at the bottom of the hill, our toboggan flipped and my heroic Daddy protected me by wrapping me up with his arms but he hurt his face and arm.. Daddy thanks for saving my life! You are my hero! Kissssssssss
Since the activities here are quite limited for little ones like me, and we are house bounded today since there is a snow storm outside, Mummy got some instant cup noodles and we played stacking.
Then we played with my Christmas present that I got from Martins yesterday
Where I creatively found other use for it- toothpick
